Engine 41 – 61st Street and Haverford Avenue. This building was torn down to build the new firehouse. The building to the left is the police station. When the new buildings were built, they were reversed – the firehouse on the corner of 61st & Thompson and the police station on the corner of 61st & Haverford.

Engine 41 was organized in this building on April 19, 1892. They moved in with Engine 54 on September 20, 1954 and then were disbanded on July 21, 1955, while the new station was being built. Engine 41 was reorganized on April 8, 1957 in the new station.
