Ward A. Rishall, October 30th, 1920

On Saturday, October 30, 1920 Driver Ward A. Rishall, assigned to the supply wagon at Fire Headquarters, died from the effects of a fall from the delivery wagon.

The supply wagon was proceeding north on Delaware Avenue at the time and was carrying a cargo of sulphuric acid carboys. The wagon was involved in an accident, and the driver was thrown to the street and injured.

At the time of the accident, it is believed that he was giving some neighborhood children a ride, however this story or the exact date of the incident could not be determined.
