Charles H. Arnold, February 19th, 1933

On Tuesday, February 7, 1933 at 9:43 PM, an alarm was sounded on Box 5236, Natrona and Oxford Streets, for a fire at the Oxford Plating Company, a three-story brick building located at the southwest corner of 32nd & Oxford Streets. While operating at this fire, Hoseman Charles H. Arnold of Engine 44 was seriously injured when a ladder on which he was working fell. He died twelve days later on February 19, 1933. The fire reached three alarms and the fire loss was set at $43,000.
