Charles G. Jones, June 25th, 1926

On Saturday, June 19, 1926 at 12:25 PM, an alarm was sounded on Box 1382, Corinthian and Parrish, for a fire in William McGee’s three-story brick dwelling.

While responding to this fire, Hoseman Charles G. Jones of Engine 34 was seriously injured when his engine collided with an American Store’s truck at 25th and Parrish Streets.

Hoseman Jones died six days later, on June 25, 1926.
